Beatrice M. Graham
Beatrice M. Graham was born on May 24, 1914 in rural Keytesville and the county of Chariton to Ora and Jerome Lambert of Keytesville, Missouri. She married Harry James Winfrey in 1950 and he preceded her in death in November 1977. Beatrice then was united in marriage to Ranson Graham and he preceded her in death in January 1986.
Beatrice taught school in the rural areas from 1932 to 1937. She moved to Kansas City where she was employed with the International Supreme Council of DeMolays in the billing department for ten years. Beatrice became a member of the First Christian Church at the age of thirteen in Keytesville, Missouri. When she moved to Carrollton she attended the First Christian Church where she has lived a Christian life ever since. Beatrice was a member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Country Club Star #448 in Kansas City, past Noble Grand member of the Live Oak Rebekah Lodge #341 in Blue Springs, Missouri, and a member of the Scottish Rites Club of Kansas City, Missouri.
Beatrice was also preceded in death by her parents, one twin sister, Beulah, a sister, Oneida, two brothers, Jerome and Vernon, all of Keytesville, Missouri. Beatrice will be sadly missed by her many friends she has made over her lifetime.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2010 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Larry Gray officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carrollton, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
