Obituary
Norma Lee Utterback, 77, of Triplett, MO died on Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at the Gibson Funeral Home in Brunswick, MO, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. Reverend Lanny Lybarger officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 – 10;30 A.M.
Burial will be in the McCullough Cemetery at Triplett, MO. Memorials may be made to McCullough Cemetery. Norma was born on June 21, 1932 at Brunswick, MO the daughter of Ernest and Violet Marie Davenport Lybarger. She graduated from the Triplett High School in 1950. Norma was married to Denzil T. Utterback on November 7, 1952 at Trenton, MO. Denzil survives her at the home. She had been a housewife and homemaker. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Marceline, MO. She is also survived by one daughter, Denise Stanfield of Mt. Airy, NC; one son, David Utterback of Lyman, SC; two brothers, Charles Lybarger of Glenwood, AR and Billie Lybarger of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Barbara Arp and one infant son.
Pallbearers will be Billy Arp, D.L. Utterback, Larry and Lonnie Stephenson, Jerry Huffman and Dale Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be L.T. Stephens, Harold Emmons, Arnold Arp and Kenneth Gilkeson.
