John H. Houston
John Houston, 87, Raytown, MO, passed away January 19, 2010 in Independence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 22, 2010, at The First Baptist Church of Raytown, 10500 350 Highway, Raytown, MO 64138. A visitation will precede the funeral starting at 10 AM, also at the church. John is survived by his children; Kimberly Smith (Danny) of Liberty, MO, and Glenn Houston (Sandy) of Lee’s Summit, MO, grandchildren; Andrew Houston, and Lyndsey Smith, and a great grandson, Preston Elliott. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of other extended family and friends. John was preceded in death by his wife Beverly. John was a member of the First Baptist Church in Raytown for more than 40 years, and was also a member of The Gideons. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Gideons, or First Baptist Church of Raytown.
