Nellie "Louise" Davis, 81, Raytown , MO passed peacefully to her heavenly home on January 25, 2010. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Thursday, January 28, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Raytown. Funeral services 1 PM, Friday, January 29, 2010 at the church. Burial in Floral Hills East Cemetery . Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Raytown, Building Fund or American Cancer Society. She was born August 17, 1928 in Galesburg , IL to Ray and Blanche Suydam and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1946. Before marriage in 1951 she worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. The family moved to Raytown in 1963 when transferred by Butler Mfg Co. She retired from the Raytown Municipal Court in 1990. Survivors include; husband of 59 years, Leland; children, Linda (Rick) Henks, Kathryn (Dwain) Smith, John (Laura) Davis; brother, Eugene Suydam; sister, Dorothy Litchfield (both from Galesburg , IL ); eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
